Policies

  • Creatives to be supplied by sponsor.
  • Creatives will take up to five business days to be posted.
  • Creatives with a white background must feature a black 1 pixel wide border within the ad size limitations to differentiate itself from editorial.
  • All advertising is served through Google/Doubleclick DFP.
  • If third party ad serving is used, a login to the reporting system must be provided to MNC.
  • Travel Offers include a maximum of one offer per resort. Offers are updated by advertiser through an on-line system.
  • All newsletter creatives are due the Friday before the newsletter launch date.
  • All Custom Blast creatives are due by noon the Thursday before the launch date.
  • Tracking pixels are not supported for any text based creative type.
  • Blinking text is not allowed. Other intentionally distracting animation elements (like blinking text), can be grounds for ad rejection.
  • MNC reserves the right to review and reject an ads for any reason.
  • 3rd Party Flash/Rich Media ads should have wmode="opaque"

Flash

All flash creatives must meet the following specification:

  • Alternate Run image: You must provide an alternate run image (gif or jpg) for website viewers without flash installed

Expandable Banners - Eyeblaster, etc.

All expanding creatives must meet the following specification:

  • Only Expandable 728x90, and Floating Ads that work back into 728x90 are supported
  • Max. Size: 728x270
  • Ads that are outside of 728x90 space without user interaction (click or mouse over) are limited to once per session.
  • Mouse overs on expandable ads can only spawn an expansion of the existing 728x90 ad. It cannot launch a new browser.
  • Only sound that is user-initiated will be accepted. All creatives that have the possibilty of sound must include a prominently visible on/off function.
  • The elements of an ad appearing outside of 728x90 ad space are limited to 7 seconds.
  • Auto expanding ads are not supported
  • Transparency is not supported
  • Expansion on mouseover must have a delay of 1500ms or greater
  • As with all ads, MNC reserves the right to review and reject an ad for any reason.
  • File Size: 40k or less
  • PLEASE NOTE: Currently Eyeblaster and DartMotif creatives are not trackable via the Realmedia OAS ad server. We will not be able to provide click through information for any creative of this type.
